Energia de Verão

 O Verão já cá está! E com ele vem mais horas de luz, vegetação verde e vegetais e frutas na horta. O nosso corpo é também inundado de uma energia que se opõem ao Inverno. E em homenagem a esta estação tão bonita, resolvi fazer uma mala nova.

Esta mala foi feita com bocados de umas calças azuis escuras, bocados de uma camisa azul clara, bocados de uma saia verde escura, bocadinhos de tecidos vários do caixote dos restos de tecidos e um bocado de um lençól branco. É uma mala cheia de espaço interno e externo! Para além do seu tamanho, tem um bolso interno e três bolsos externos. Adoro o resultado final, ficou tal e qual como eu a imaginei. E o fecho foi feito com dois cordões da saia verde escura, um sistema diferente do que tenho feito até hoje e, no entanto, continua a ser prático. É uma mala que me faz lembrar o Verão, por ter cores alegres, vivas, todas à mistura. 

Mais uma ideia de como podem aproveitar tecidos de roupas que tenham em casa e que já não tenham uso. Dá para fazer tanta coisa gira e útil, desde malas até às peças mais pequenas como carteiras e bolsinhas.

Summer is here! And with it comes longer day light, green vegetation, vegetables and fruits in the garden. Our bodies are also assaulted by an energy that opposes to the one of Winter. And in homage to this beautiful season, I decided to make a new handbag.

This handbag was made with pieces of dark blue trousers, pieces of a light blue shirt, pieces of a dark green skirt, pieces of fabric from the leftover fabric box, and a piece of a white bedsheet. It's a handbag full of internal and external space! Besides its size, it has an internal pocket and three external pockets. I love the final result, it ended up being just as I imagined it. And the closing system was made with two strings from the same dark green skirt, a system that is different from what I've done until today and, still, it's practical. It's a handbag that reminds me of Summer, because of its joyful, bright colors, all together.

Another idea on how you can reuse fabric from clothes you have at home but that you don't use anymore. You can do so many pretty things with them, from handbags to smaller items like wallets and pouches.
