Gravatas-colares

 Aqueles que me acompanham no Instagram sabem que nos últimos tempos tenho andado a experimentar fazer peças diferentes com gravatas. Gosto muito de fazer malas com gravatas, mas queria explorar mais além a grande potencialidade das gravatas!

Quando faço malas, utilizo normalmente das partes mais largas. As partes mais estreitas vou acumulando e nunca tinha feito nada com elas. Até hoje! Decidi pegar nelas e fazer colares! Só usei estes tecidos mais estreitos das gravatas e enchi com material de enchimento fofinho que tinha em casa. Os fechos dos colares são todos diferentes, feitos com botões a combinar com as próprias gravatas, e com bocadinhos de elástico que tinha em casa. Embora não saiba o que vocês vão achar, pessoalmente estou muito contente com o resultado final. Adoro os padrões das gravatas, as cores e adoro que estes colares sejam muito levezinhos. Acho que ficariam bem com uma blusa branca ou preta, para se destacarem, e até dão um ar formal ao conjunto, devido aos tecidos das gravatas serem tão bonitos e macios.

Esta é também uma ideia que podem facilmente pôr em prática com gravatas que tenham em casa! Estes colares não são difíceis de fazer.

Those who follow me on Instagram know that lately I've been experimenting with ties. I really enjoy making handbags with ties, but I wanted to explore the potential of ties beyond!

When I make handbags, I normally use the wider parts of ties. And I keep accumulating the narrower parts and I had never made anything with these. Until today! I decided to pick them up and make necklaces! I only used the ties' fabrics and I filled them with a fluffy filling material I had at home. The closing systems are all different, make with buttons that match the characteristics of each tie, and with pieces of elastic I had at home. Although I don't know what you'll think of them, personally I'm really happy with the final result. I love these tie patterns, the colors and I love that the necklaces are super light. I see someone wearing them with a white or black blouse, for the necklaces to contrast, and they even give some kind of a formal look to the outfit, due to the beautiful and soft fabric of the ties. 

This is also an idea you can easily put to practice with ties you might have at home! These colors are not difficult to make.
