Continuo  com vontade de fazer malas. Depois de tanto tempo com a produção de malas em pausa e a tratar de encomendas diferentes, esta vontade regressou, acompanhando o regresso às ruas depois da quarentena. Porque, sejamos sinceros, uma mala só é útil se tivermos de transportar coisas connosco quando vamos à rua. Se não saímos, as malas ficam, infelizmente, um pouco abandonadas no armário.

Esta vontade de voltar a fazer malas foi impulsionada também porque tenho aqui uns restos de um cortinado espectacular que cada vez que olho para ele vejo mil e uma peças que posso criar com ele. À semelhança da mala anterior, aproveitei um bocado deste tecido verde com ramos de plantas para fazer uma mala, mas desta vez usei-o de forma diferente. Este tecido manda esta energia de Natureza que eu adoro!

Desta vez, fiz uma mala mais pequena, aproveitando partes de umas calças pretas para fazer o corpo da mala. Para o sistema de fecho, fiz uma uma aba com um bocado do cortinado verde. Fiz a casa para um botão e o botão é um daqueles antigos que resgatei há anos da gaveta de botões da minha avó. Depois, fiz uma alça totalmente ajustável com mais uns bocados do cortinado! Adoro a alça. Os pormenores em metal também foram resgatados de outras malas há anos. Tudo reutilizado, sem fechos zip, nenhum material comprado (a não ser as linhas que compro claro).

Se não fosse eu já ter umas duas ou três malas, ficava também com esta. Estou apaixonada pelo resultado final. Gosto mesmo mesmo dela. Ficam as fotos em baixo.

I keep wanting to make handbags. After so much time with the production on a break and working on different orders, this will came back, accompanying the return to the streets after the quarantine. Because, let's be honest, a handbag is only useful if we need to carry things with us when we're going outside. If we don't get out, handbags remain, unfortunately, abandoned in the closet. 

This will to make handbags again was also motivated by the fact that I have these pieces of an amazing and beautiful curtain. When I look at it, I see million ways o use it and create items with it. Similarly to the previous handbag, I used a piece of this green curtain with leaves and branches, but this time I used it in a different way. This fabric has such Nature vibes, I love it!

This time, I made a smaller handbag, using parts of black jeans for the main body of the bag. For the closing system, I made a cover with a piece of the green curtain. I made the button hole and the button is one of those I rescued from my grandmother's buttons box. Afterwards, I made a totally adjustable strap with pieces of the same curtain! I love the strap. The metallic details were also rescued from other handbags years ago. Everything in this handbag is second hand, reused, nothing was bought to make it (besides the thread of course) and no zippers. 

If I didn't have two or three handbags already, I would keep this one for myself. I am in love with the final result. I really really like it. You can find the photos below.
