Sempre na mala

Há uma coisa que trago sempre comigo na mala: o meu individual com bolsa para transportar os talheres, os pauzinhos, o guardanapo de pano e os saquinhos de pano. Anda comigo para todo o lado. Para o trabalho, para um dia na cidade, para a praia, para o campo... Em suma, para toda e qualquer viagem que tenha de fazer e em que possa surgir a possibilidade de ter de comer qualquer coisa e poder precisar dos meus utensílios. 

Este individual é também uma das peças que vocês mais gostam do Écostura, o que me deixa muito feliz. É uma das peças que vocês mais me pedem para fazer. E nunca fiz um igual! O que significa que todas as pessoas com individuais do Écostura terão um individual único. 

Há pouco tempo, encomendaram-me mais um. A pessoa escolheu os tecidos. Foi feito com um bocado de umas calças bege e um bocado de uma camisa aos quadradinhos. No entanto, queria fazer algo diferente neste individual. Por isso, em vez de usar fita para fazer o fecho, utilizei o fio de algodão que adquiri em segunda mão há algum tempo e fiz um entrançado. No final da trança, coloquei uma missanga que era de uma antiga pulseira minha. E adoro o resultado final. Por ter este pormenor diferente, achei que valia a pena escrever um post no blog sobre isso. Afinal de contas, surgiu um modelo diferente para os individuais! Ficam as fotos.

There's something I always bring with me in my handbag: my placemat with a pocket for cutlery, chopsticks, cloth napkin and cloth bags for groceries. It goes with me everywhere. To work, for a day in the city, to the beach, to the countryside... In conclusion, in every trip that I need to make and where there might be a chance that I will have to eat and I might need my tools. 

This placemat is also one of the items you like the most from Écostura, which makes me very happy. I's one of the items people order the most. And I always make them differently! There's never one placemat equal to another. Which means that people going around with Écostura's placemats have a unique placemat with them. 

Some time ago, someone order another one. This person chose the fabric, as usual. It was made with a piece of beige trousers and a piece of a red-squared shirt. However, I wanted to make something different in this placemat. So, instead of using the same ribbon I used for the others, I used a cotton thread I acquired second hand and I made kind of a braid. At the end of the braid, I put a piece from an old bracelet. And I love the final result. Because of this different detail, I thought it was worth writing a post about it for the blog. After all, a new model of placemats has arrived! Here are the photos.
