Energias de Outono

Quando fiz a mala dos insectos, fiquei muito satisfeita com o resultado final. Saiu exatamente como queria (ainda penso naquele botão dourado de tão lindo que era e como ficou bem ali enquadrado…). Desta mala, sobrou um bocado do tecido dos insectos. Guardei-o, como todos os restinhos. Entretanto, surgiram aquelas gravatas lindas. Fiz uma mala com as gravatas, mas deixei uma de fora. Não sei se era uma gravata ou se era um lenço com um feitio diferente. Só sei que era lindo e mandava umas energias de Outono espectaculares. Aqueles castanhos e laranjas… Por coincidência, alguns dos insectos também eram cor de laranja. Não demorou até que quisesse fazer uma mala com estes elementos todos. Mas o que realmente destaca a mala de hoje é a pequena renda. Um pormenor que faz toda a diferença. Se não estivesse lá, a mala não seria a mesma. Vamos lá, então, descrever que materiais usei.

A mala que vos mostro hoje, foi feita com bocados de calças de ganga pretas, para o exterior, e bocados de uma camisola fina cor de laranja, para o interior. O bolso externo foi feito com um bocado do tecido dos insectos e comprei um bocadinho de renda no mercado dos tecidos para adornar o bolso. Acho que ficou muito bem. A alça foi feita com o tal lenço lindo! Por baixo, tem um bocado de pressinta, que tinha em casa. Dei uns nós nas pontas do lenço, achei que dava um efeito ainda mais diferente e engraçado. When I made the handbag with the bug print, I was very happy with the final result. It turned out exactly how I wanted (I still think about that golden button, it was so beautiful and it matched so well with the background…) From this handbag, there was a bit of leftover from the insect fabric. I kept it, like I do with all the leftover bits. In the meantime, those beautiful ties came along. I made the handbag with the ties, but I left one out. I'm not sure it was a tie or a weird scarf. I only know it was sending Autumn vibes. The brown and the orange mixed together… As a coincidence, some of the insects were orange as well. It didn't take long for me to want to make another handbag with all these elements. But what really stands out in today's bag is that small amount of lace. A detail that makes all the difference. If it wasn't there, the handbag wouldn't be the same. So, let's describe what materials I used.

The handbag I am showing you today, was made with parts from black jeans, for the external part, and parts from na orange shirt, for the inside. The external pocket was made with a bit of the insect fabric and I bought a bit of lace to decorate the pocket. I think it turned out very well. The handle was made with the scarf! Below it, I sewed a bit of pressinta, that I had around the house. I made knots on both ends of the scarf, because I thought it would make a different and funny effect.
