Bolsas de cintura

Às vezes, as malas são um empecilho. Às vezes, apetece sair sem elas, ir de mãos livres, sem ter de ir a segurá-las pelas alças ou a tentar que elas não resvalem pelo ombro abaixo. Especialmente para concertos, festivais, idas ao mercado, passeios rápidos pela rua… 

Pois bem, a solução para isto são as já famosas bolsas de cintura. Voltaram à moda. Há de todos os formatos e feitios. De marca ou sem ter marca. E eu decidi fazer duas, com padrões diferentes. Não inventei o modelo. Viu-o em páginas de internet relacionadas com campismo. E adorei a ideia. Não gosto daquelas bolsas de colocar à volta da cintura. Daria muito mais trabalho e precisaria de mais material, que não tenho em casa. 

Fiz um modelo que tanto dá para pendurar nas presilhas das calças e calções, como dá para prender ao cinto. Dependo de quem gosta/precisa de usar cinto. E é um modelo que agrada tanto a homens como mulheres (o meu irmão encomendou-me logo uma…). Estas foram a primeira experiência, mas gosto muito do resultado. A mais colorida, foi feita com um tecido LINDO que a minha avó tinha em casa, restos de oilskin e um bocado de calças cinzentas. Os ganchos são também reaproveitados, deram-me há uns tempos. A azulinha, das bolinhas, foi feita com um tecido que a minha mãe me deu pelo Natal, restos de oilskin e um bocado de calças bege. Mais uma vez, os ganchos são reaproveitados.

Eu acho-as muito práticas. Quem sabe não faço uma para mim! Uma é maior do que a outra, porque eu não funciono com todos os parafusos e não trabalho com medidas certas nem moldes (na maior parte das vezes). E como não uso carteiras grandes, cabe lá tudo o que preciso para sair de casa: carteiras, lenços de papel, telemóvel, chaves de casa, etc. Estas duas que fiz estão disponíveis. Sometimes, handbags an obstacle. Sometimes, we just want to get out of the house without them, with our hands free, without having to hold handbags by the hand or on the shoulder for the handles not to fall down. This is particularly true when we go to concerts, festivals, to the market, on short walks outside, to walk the dog…

Well, the solution for this are waist pouches. They came back and are fashionable right now. They came back in all shapes and sizes. And I decided to make two, with diferente patterns. I didn't invente the model. I saw it in camping websites and I loved the idea. I don't like the ones that go around my waist. It would be too much work and I would need more material, material which I don't have at home.

I made this model which is good to hang on trousers/skirts/shorts' belt straps and that you can also put on the belt. Depending on whether a person likes/needs to use a belt or not. And this model is apparently good for men and women (at least my brother order one already…). These two I'm showing today are the first experiment, but I like the final final result. The more colorful one was made with a BEAUTIFUL fabric that my grandmother had in her house, leftover oilskin and pieces of grey trousers. The hooks were also re-used, they werre given to me some time ago. The blue pouch, with the dots, was made with a fabric my mother gave me for Christmas, leftover oilskin and pieces of bege trousers. Again, the hooks were re-used. 

I think they are very practical. Who knows, maybe I'll make one for myself! One is bigger than the other, because I'm a bit crazy and I don't work with measurements (most of the time). And because I don't use big wallets, everything I need to leave the house fits in these pouches: wallets, phone, house keys, etc. These two pouches are available.
