I love gravatas

Eu adoro gravatas. A sério. Adoro as cores e os padrões, das mais berrantes às mais pirosas! E, com muita pena, não as uso. No entanto, durante o Verão passado, a minha avó recebeu uma bela quantidade de gravatas usadas. Como eram muitas, deu-me a escolher algumas delas. Que sorte tive! De repente, tinha uma mão cheia de gravatas lindas.

Mas não sabia o que fazer com elas. Não fazia ideia se queria fazer carteiras, decorações para malas… Até que decidi fazer uma mala. Cosi algumas gravatas umas às outras, juntei-lhe uma parte de trás de uma parte de cima de umas calças pretas e coloquei um forro preto, um retalho simples que encontrei numa loja de retalhos. O fecho era de uma mala antiga, bem como as alças. Adoro o resultado final! Estou apaixonada por esta peça. Acho que está muito divertida. Deu-me imenso gozo fazer esta mala.

Agora, alguém que adore gravatas tanto como eu, já poderá usá-las, de forma muito confortável e sem arriscar um pescoço apertado! Porque esta mala não tem dono/a! Por isso, caso alguém esteja interessado, não hesite em contactar-me por e-mail.

I love ties. Really. I love the colors and the patterns, from the most colorful ones to the most tacky ones! And, with much sadness, I don't use them. However, during last summer, my grandmother received a big quantity of used ties. Because they were a lot in number, she told me to take some of them. What luck! All of a sudden, I had a hand full of beautiful ties.

But I didn't know what to do with them. I mean, I had no idea whether I wanted to make wallets, decorations for handbags… Until I decided to make an actual handbag with them. I sewed the ties to each other, on the other side I sewed the back part of an upper part of some black trousers and I put a black fabric inside. This inside fabric is a retail fabric. As for the closing system, I added a zipper from another bag. The handle is also from another handbag. I love the final result! I'm in love with this one. I think it came out super fun. And I enjoyed so much making it.

Now, someone who loves ties as much as I do will be able to use these, in a more comfortable way and without risking a tight neck! Because this handbag doesn't have an owner! So, in case someone is interested, don't hesitate in contacting me by e-mail.
