Roupa suja

As minhas costuras têm sempre algo de tosco. Nunca são perfeitas. Consequência de não me dar bem com fita métrica. Raramente a uso. Fora isso, na vida gosto bastante de ordem, paz. Uma pessoa dirá que sou meio (senão totalmente) "control freak"... Por isso, lá em casa, temos três cestos de roupa suja! Sim, leram bem, três: um para roupa de cor, lãs, calças e afins delicados; outro para roupa normal e de desporto; por último, um para toalhas e roupa de cama. Não vos consigo explicar o porquê disto, mas gostamos de fazer a separação logo à partida. 

No entanto, o cesto da roupa de cor não era bem um cesto. Era um saco de plástico. Quando descobrimos que tínhamos um antigo caixote de reciclagem vazio, o namorado teve a excelente ideia de substituir o saco de plástico pelo caixote! Também teve a felicíssima ideia de eu fazer um forro para o caixote. Foi o que fiz e é isso que vos venho mostrar hoje. Há pouco tempo tinham-me dado uma capa de edredon linda. Aproveitei-a, tirei um cantinho, adicionei um elástico e eis o resultado! Ok, confesso que desta vez usei fita métrica...

My sewing is always clumsy. They are never perfect. A consequence of not using measuring tape. I rarely use it. Other than that, in life, I like order, peace. A certain person would say I am kind of a control frek (totally a control freak) … So, at home, we have three baskets for dirty laundry! Yes, you read well, three: one for the colored clothes, wools, and delicate pieces; another one for normal and sports clothes; and finally one for towels and bed clothing. I can't explain why we do this, but we like to separate the clothes from the start.

However, the basket for colored clothes was not really a basket. It was a plastic bag. When we found we had an old recycling bin empty, the boyfriend had the excellent idea to replace the plastic bag with the bin! He also had the great idea for me to make an inside sac for the bin. That's what I did and that's what I am showing you today. Some time ago, I received a beautiful duvet cover. I used it, took a corner from it, I added an elastic and here's the result! Ok, I confess, I used the measuring tape for this one…
