À la Indiana Jones

No último café conserto em que participei, perguntaram-me se já tinha feito uma mala igual à do Indiana Jones. Eu adoro os filmes do Indiana Jones, mas não me lembrava da mala do senhor. Escusado será dizer que fiquei com a ideia atrás da orelha. E quando cheguei a casa, descobri o tecido ideal para fazer uma mala parecida à do arqueólogo mais sexy da história do cinema. 

Há tempos, a minha avó tinha-me dado uma saia antiga da minha mãe. De lã castanha, com uns enfeites amarelos muito bonitos. Desmontei a saia toda, aproveitei os enfeites amarelos, que mantive, e fiz a mala que vos mostro hoje. Só tive de adicionar um bocado de um lençol branco como forro, um cinto de cabedal fino para fazer a alça, e um sistema de fecho. A melhor parte é que não tive de comprar material nenhum para fazer esta mala! Tinha todos os materiais em casa. É, por isso, uma peça feita de material 100% reciclado! Acho que a mala ficou um mimo. Está mesmo gira! E combina na perfeição com qualquer roupa de Outono/Inverno. Estou super orgulhosa! E esta amiga não tem dono/a... Por isso, se alguém estiver interessado, contactem-me por e-mail.

In the last "café conserto" I participated, people asked me if I'd ever made a handbag as the one Indiana Jones uses. Now, I love Indiana Jones' movies, but I couldn't recall his bag. Of course the idea lingered in my mind. And when I got home, I found the perfect fabric to make a handbag similar to the one the most sexy archaeologist in the history of cinema has.

Some time ago, my grandmother gave me an old skirt which belonged to my mother. It was made out of brown wool, with pretty yellow ornaments. I dismantled the skirt, kept the yellow ornaments, and made the handbag I am showing you today. I only had to add a pieace of an old bedsheet, a handle made out of an old belt and a closing system. The best part is I didn't buy a thing to make this handbag! I had everythin at home. This is a 100% recycled handbag. I think the result is beautiful. It's really cute! And matches perfectly with any Autumn/Winter clothes. I'm super proud! And this one doesn't have an owner… So, if you're interested, please contact me by e-mail.
