Roupa em segunda mão

Eu sou fã de roupa em segunda mão. Nem sempre é possível, porque nem sempre as lojas em segunda mão têm as peças que procuramos, mas tento sempre comprar em segunda mão. Já vos escrevi sobre uma das lojas de roupa em segunda mão de que mais gosto, em Lisboa. 

Mas sei que algumas pessoas pensam que não se encontra roupa bonita nestes lugares. Por isso, hoje venho mostrar-vos como é possível encontrarem roupa bonita, até para os eventos mais especiais. Há dias, fui a um casamento. E apesar de ter vestidos em casa, encontrei por acaso um vestido lindo numa venda em segunda mão. Gostei tanto do vestido que não resisti. Por 7 EUROS!!! Só tive de fazer umas alterações (na verdade, pedi à avó, que eu ainda não tenho coragem de me aventurar neste tipo de costuras): tirámos um bocadinho da baínha e com ela fizemos uma fitas para cintar o vestido. 

Emparelhado com umas sandálias super confortáveis (tiveram de ser uma sandálias de salto, ortopédicas, que eu e os saltos na calçada portuguesa não nos damos…) e um penteado todo janota, lá fui eu para o casamento. Por isso, desconstruam os mitos, comprem em segunda mão e façam furor nas festas sem usar os mesmos vestidos que as outras pessoas. Inspirem-se e inspirem os outros ;)

I'm a fan of second hand clothing. It is not always possible to buy second hand, since sometimes I don't find the piece of clothing I am looking for, but I try to buy second hand when I can. I already wrote about one of my favorite second hand shop in Lisbon.

However, I know some people think that you can't find beautiful clothes in such places. So, today I am writing to show your that it is possible to find nice second hand clothes, even for special events. A few days ago, I went to a wedding. And although I had dresses at home, I found by chance a beautiful dress in a second hand fair. I liked it so much I couldn't resist. For 7 EUROS!!! I only had to make small changes (in truth, I asked my grandmother, because I don't feel comfortable doing this kind of sewing… yet): we took a bit of the end of the skirt and with it we made two strips around the waste to make the dress narrower.

Together with super comfortable high heel sandals (they had to be orthopedic, because I don't go along with high heels in the portuguese sidewalks…) and a pretty hair style, I went to the wedding. Thus, destroy myths and prejudice, buy second hand and be the life of the party, by not wearing the same dresses other people wear. Get inspire and inspire others ;)
