Flamingos e rosetas

Hoje trago-vos uma peça da qual estou extremamente orgulhosa! Deu algum trabalho, mas valeu bem a pena. Tinha para aqui uns restos de umas calças cor-de-rosa. Não é a minha cor preferida… Por isso, não sabia o que fazer com ela. Mas, quando encontrei um tecido cheio de flamingos, tudo fez-se sentido. Eureka! Decidi fazer uma mala mais pequena, com o dito forro dos flamingos. Mais: a minha avó herdou aquilo a que chamamos "naperons". Aquele bicho que podemos encontrar em muitas casas portuguesas, por cima dos móveis, da televisão, da mesinha de café… enfim, numa série de lugares. Decidi trazer um naperon para casa e dividi as rosetas. Ora, não houve melhor aplicação para esta mala do que duas das rosetas do dito naperon. Depois foi só colocar um fecho e uma alça. Esta alça é um antigo cinto, com um fecho super diferente e engraçado.

Toda a mala tem uma personalidade fortíssima. ADORO! Que acham? Conhecem alguém que também gostaria dela? Se sim, partilhem o post, porque esta malinha ainda não tem dono/a. De resto, inspirem-se!

Today I bring you an item I am very proud of! It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. I had leftovers of pink jeans around here. It's not my favorite color… So, I didn't know what to do with them. However, when I found a fabric full of flamingos, everything made sense. Eureka! I decided to make a smaller handbag with those flamingos inside. More: my grandmother inherited what we call "naperons". That little item you can find in many Portuguese houses, above the furniture, the TV, the coffe table… anyway, in many places. I decided to bring one home and divide the flowers. There was no better application for this handbag than these two naperon flowers. Afterwards, I only had to put a zipper and a handle. This handle is an old belt, with a super funny and diferente buckle.
