A prenda do namorado

Pouco a seguir ao Natal, no início deste ano, o meu namorado fez anos. Como prenda pediu... uma luva de cozinha. Sim, é um moço prendado e gosta muito de cozinhar! Por isso, não hesitei em conceder-lhe o pedido. Uma prenda simples, útil, e que não foi difícil de fazer. Podia ter ficado maior, mas foi a primeira, tenho de aperfeiçoar a técnica. 

A minha avó tinha-me dado um vestido antigo da minha mãe. Utilizei o tecido do vestido para fazer a luva. O contorno, noutra cor, foi feito com um resto de tecido que tinha por aqui. Por dentro do tecido, coloquei um tecido esponjoso. E aqui está o resultado!

O que acham? Eu acho que é uma excelente utilização para tecidos que tenham em casa e não saibam o que podem fazer com eles. É um item diferente, bonito, e que faz toda a diferença na cozinha. Inspirem-se!

Some time after Christmas, in the beginning of the year, my boyfriend celebrate his birthday. For a gift, he asked for... a kitchen glove. Yes, he is that cool, and enjoys cooking very much! So, I didn't hesitate in fulfilling his wish. A simples, useful gift, which was not difficult to make at all. It could be bigger, but it was the first I made, I still have to perfect the technique.

My grandmother had an old dress that belonged to my mother and she gave it to me. I used the fabric to make the flove. The borders, in a diferente colour, was made out of some fabric I had here lying around. Inside the fabrics, I put the spongy fabric. And here's the result!

What do you guys think? I think it's an excellent use for fabrics that you might have around the house and might not know what to do with. This is an original item, that makes all the difference in the kitchen. Get inspired!
