Gravatas-colar

Este é um posto muito especial, onde vos vou mostrar umas peças lindas e contar um pouco mais sobre mim. Começo por vos dizer que não sei coser com máquina. As costuras que faço podem ser toscas. Sei apenas o básico. Mas o que aprendi, aprendi com a melhor: a minha avó. A minha avó é MESTRE em costura. Faz tudo. Fazia os meus fatos de Carnaval, faz roupa, repara roupa, faz malas, faz cortinados, faz toalhas de mesa, bordados, crochet, tricot, ponto-cruz, colchas, sacos reutilizáveis para ir às compras, colares, chapéus... Todo um mundo de artigos lindos, maravilhosos, aos quais não consigo fazer justiça. Prometo mostrar-vos mais do que ela faz aqui, ao longo do tempo.

No entanto, os artigos que a minha avó tem feito ultimamente são extremamente interessantes. Ela pegou em gravatas, ou tecidos de roupa antiga que transforma em gravata, e fez colares. Vejam o resultado:

Today's post is a very special one, in which I am going to show you some very beautiful items and tell you a bit more about myself. I can start by saying that I don't know how to sew with a sewing machine. The sewing I do is not perfect. I only know the basics. But, what I've learned, I learned with the best: my grandmother. She is the MASTER in what it comes to sewing. She makes everything. She used to make my Carnival play-suits, she makes clothes, she repairs clothes, she makes handbags, curtains, table cloths, embroidery, crochet, tricot, cross stitch, quilts, patchwork, reusable bags for grocery shopping, necklaces, hats... An entire world of beautiful, wonderful, items, to which I cannot make justice. I promise I will show you more of them here, with time.

However, the items my grandmother made in the last months, are extremely interesting. She grabbed on some ties, or fabrics from older clothes which she transforms into ties, and made necklaces. Here's the result:
