Era uma vez na cozinha

No post de hoje, apresento-vos uma peça bem diferente das malas que vos tenho mostrado. Finalmente tive tempo para variar um bocadinho. Para uma das malas que fiz recentemente, utilizei parte de uma camisa para fazer o forro. Fiquei com a parte da frente da camisa intacta. Depois de algum tempo a olhar para ela, apercebi-me que ela tinha todo o potencial para servir de base a um ... AVENTAL!

É isso mesmo. Da parte da frente da camisa, fiz um avental! Muito simples. Tirei os botões, cosi as casas dos botões, apliquei um tecido mais grosso e resistente na parte de trás e fiz umas alças com o tecido de umas calças de bombazine vermelhas. Para esta peça, não utilizei tecidos novos. Apenas usei tecidos que já tinha. Eis o resultado.

O que acham? Achei que tinha umas cores giras, mais próximas da época natalícia. E a propósito: FELIZ NATAL! Desejo-vos excelentes festas. E aproveito para vos dizer que vou fazer uma pausa até meados de Janeiro. Vou aproveitar o tempo em família, a comidinha e o tempo mais livre para pensar em mais ideias diferentes para o blog. In today's post, I am presenting you a different item, in comparison with the handbags I make most of the time. I finally had time to vary a bit. For one of the handbags I recently made, I used the back of a shirt to make the inner part. The front side was left for other projects. After some time, I realized it had the great potential to serve as Foundation for... an APRON!

That's right. From the front part of the shirt, I made an apron. Very simple. I took off the buttons, I sewed the button spaces, applied a thicker fabric on the back of the shirt and I made straps from the fabric of red trousers. Thus, for this item, I didn't use any new fabric. I only used fabrics I already had and mainly from other clothes. Here's the result.

What do you think? I thought it had nice colours, more similar to Christmas season. And, by the way: MERRY CHRISTMAS! I wish you very happy holidays. And I need to tell you that I am taking a very brief break from the blog until mid January. I'm going to enjoy some family time, food and some free days to think about new ideas for the blog. There will new items very soon!
