Para o viajante

Ora bem, as calças pretas têm dado pano para mangas! Não literalmente, mas tem dado para fazer muitas peças. Aproveitei-as, então, para fazer a minha mais recente encomenda: uma bolsa "necessaire". Para a mãe, para o pai, para o filho, para a neta... toda a gente usa. Por isso, esta é uma excelente ideia para fazerem uma prenda a alguém. Afinal, o Natal aproxima-se...

O pano exterior é a ganga preta de umas calças. O interior é um forro colorido e com flores, de algodão. Entre o tecido exterior e o forro, coloquei uma esponja. Esta dá uma estrutura mais consistente à bolsa, sem que as paredes cedam com o peso dos produtos. Ao mesmo tempo, permite que a bolsa possa ser espalmada e guardada dentro de uma mala bem apertada sem que perca esta estrutura. Esta bolsa é bastante grande, como pedido. E não foi difícil de fazer! Fica mais uma ideia do que podem fazer com calças que já não servem ou que já não gostam. Inspirem-se!

So, the black jeans have enough fabric for loads of things! Not only they are useful to make nice handbags, as you can see in the previous blog post, but they are also useful to make other items. This time, I used black jeans to make my most recente order: a "necessaire" bag. Mothers, fathers, children, partners... everyone uses these! Thus, it might be a good idea to give as a present. After all, Christmas is not too far away...

The exterior is made from the black fabric of jeans. The interior is a colorful cotton fabric with cute flowers. Between the exterior and the interior fabric I put some kind of sponge. This gives a stronger structure to the bag, without the sides ofe the bag coming down with the weight of the products inside it. At the same time, this sponge allows for the bag to be molded in order to fit suitcases, without losing its structure. It's not difficult to make this! It's another idea of how you can transform the jeans you don't wear or don't like anymore. Get inspired!
